Why are there more female sociologists than female mechanical engineering researchers? Is biology more “feminine” than physics? Why are young girls turning away from mathematics? To explore these questions, Marion Amiaud and Julien Avril conducted a year of research, meeting with educators, sociologists, and female researchers at Paris Saclay University. Together with students, they created an epic story where realism blends with comedy. The joy of acting makes theater a tool for understanding and questioning cultural stereotypes.
