How do you find your place when no one gives you the rules? In My Place draws on the stories of teenagers to depict that moment when everything gets complicated. In middle school, one wrong word, a poorly chosen sweatshirt, or a particular taste in music can turn everything upside down. Three teens—X, Y, and Z—navigate life, juggling family, school, social media, and imaginary safe havens. On a stage transformed into a giant tangram, the group experiments, shifts pieces around, and starts over. Little by little, each one seeks their own path, in their own way, while navigating relationships with the others.
